New Projects Now Available!

American soul-blues master, Mighty Sam McClain, and Persian lioness, Mahsa Vahdat, follow up their 2010 collaboration Scent of Reunion.  Introduced to American audiences through Lullabies From The Axis Of Evil, Vahdat has been a voice for the many of sheltered women throughout Iran.  Throughout McClain’s more than 50 year career, he has seen everything from being homeless to nominated for a Grammy Award.  Under the same theme “Love Duets Across Civilizations”, the duo again intertwine English and Farsi lyrics to pull from their personal struggles and create another remarkable journey.

The Blues Foundation nominations for “Too Much Jesus (not enough wiskey)” including Song of the Year 2013, Album of the Year 2013 and a nomination for Mighty Sam McClain as “Soul / Blues Male Artist”. The awards ceremony was held May 5-6 in Memphis, TN In years past is was known as the J.C. Handy awards in honor of the man considered “Father of the Blues”. Mighty Sam Has been honored in years past by the recognition of The Blues Foundation for many of his releases in numerous categories.
